 MBTI Questionnaire Review

1. What is your reported MBTI Type? Explain how you feel about it, do you agree with the report, why do you agree? Is it your Best fit type? Best fit means it matches what you already believe about yourself.

My results were ENTB (Extraversion, Intuition, Thinking, Perceiving). I agree with the report. Extraversion ( outer world, big picture, decision making based upon analysis of cause and effect, flexible approach to life)

However, after reviewing the clarity report it seems I'm rather on the fence about most of the results.

2. What are the main attributes (features) of your type? What does it tell you about yourself?

Intelligent, Independent, creative. This just reconfirms so many things for me. It tells me that I need to choose a career choice that gives me freedom and the opportunity to be creative.

3. Based on your My Plan results identify your 3 top career values and top 3 career interests. Discuss how you feel about the results.

Working Conditions, Recognition, Support. Those are very close to my heart. These are the types of environments that drive me to do the best job I can. When working conditions are great, it shows me that the employer cares about their workers.

Recognition is important because I do great work and I want it to be acknowledged every once in a while. A pat on the back will do just fine. I've worked in environments before where I would work so hard till I was drained only to leave the job because I had nothing left to give. Recognition is like refueling the gas tank in the car for me. I can only go for so long until I'm out of gas.

Support, I believe it's important to have at the company standby the employees. This will only build confidence when it shows you're working in a team environment. Where it isn't every man for themselves.

4. How does your MBTI type and values impact your career choices currently and possibly in the future?

According to the challenges listed for my type, it says that I may not consider all the important facts when entering the job market. I tend to rush into opportunities enthusiastically and I should spend more time prioritizing opportunities and setting deadlines to make decisions  This has taught me to step outside myself and to take my time while choosing a career to ensure the right choice.

5. Based on your type what kind of profession, job industry do you see yourself in?

Based on what I've learned about myself during this test, I want to look into the FBI, Or pursuing a career in creative writing or technical writing.

6. What qualities of your type fit in successfully with your identified job industry?

Problem solving, being artistic, writing has independence which is important to me as well as originality.

7. If you use information from researched sites, books articles. You must reference that information at the end of the paper.
